Design of amphibious rescue Vehicle

This diploma thesis is concerned with design of amphibious rescue vehicle. The aim of this work is to design external shape of the vehicle and to create a modul container which fullfills technical, contructional, ergonomic and aestethic features of the vehicle. The work is meant to show variety of new shapes of amphibious vehicles and the advancement from former shapes towards newer and more suitable ones.
Engine Cycle Design for Plug-in Hybrid

The content of this thesis is analysis of energy flows of the propulsion system in plug-in hybrid utility vehicle. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with electrically assisted turbochargers, which can positively influence engine characteristics. The following part analyses given diesel engine and utility vehicle in simulations in GT-Suite software, with simulations being performed on WLTC driving cycle. The results of the simulations demonstrate the relation between the usage of electrical and fuel energies and the driving cycle and show the engine operation points. By using optimal battery capacity, it is possible to save according to driving cycle more than 50 % energy consumed by the engine, directly influencing the fuel consumption. The results are possible to use as a guidance for moving the engine operation points and for sizing of the battery pack of hybrid utility vehicle according to real life application.

The main aim of my diploma thesis is to create a concept of a vehicle which will benefit from advantages of utility vehicles and small urban cars . In my thesis I think about using of ecological materials, effective production technologies and requirements for car in present.

The basic aim of this thesis is to create a concept design for a small four-wheeled utility vehicle. During the design process, we focus on all important structural units of the vehicle select an appropriate alternative for solution of its general configuration. After this, we describe all relevant structural units of the vehicle and we mention the advantages and disadvantages of the selected solution.

This thesis focuses on design solutions, engine power parameters and development tendencies of utility vehicles engines. The first part describes compression-ignition engine and its main parts. This is followed by second part that contains tables with engine data and the last part of thesis speaks about the possible development of utility vehicle engines and its perspectives in future.
